By Rex Gowar BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) – Cities looking to add glamour and sporting weight in support of their bids to hold the Olympic Games have turned in the past to the likes of Pele and David Beckham. Former England soccer captain Beckham helped London win the right to organize the 2012 Games and Brazilian great Pele was part of Rio de Janeiro’s successful bid for the 2016 Games. NBA basketball player Pau Gasol is a figurehead for Madrid, competing against Istanbul and Tokyo in Saturday’s International Olympic Committee vote to stage the 2020 Games. …
