A pair of Amy’s – Amy Yang and Amy Hung – made strong moves up the Rolex Rankings this week. Yang, who lost in a play-off at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Presented by P&G to Rolex Rankings No. 1 Yani Tseng, posted her second career runner-up finish boosting her up seven spots to No. 17 in the Rankings. Meanwhile Hung carded a tie for fifth in Arkansas to leap 16 positions to No. 75. The finish was Hung’s ninth career top-10 finish.

Kia Classic champion Sandra Gal continued her good play in Arkansas. A tie for fifth moved her up four spots to No. 40. Second-year player Chella Choi broke into the top 100 for the first time in her career. Her tie for 10th finish lifted her 13 spots to No. 90. LPGA Tour rookie Haru Nomura improved eight places to No. 79 after posting a tie for 25th.

In the top 10, Tseng held onto the top spot for the 30th consecutive week, while Paula Creamer and Brittany Lincicome both advanced one position to No. 8 and No. 9 respectively.
